WELCOME TO THE PVES CLINIC WITH NURSE AMY!

I'm excited to share the 21-22 school year with you!

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year.  It will look very different from previous years.  Please check back regularly for updated information to prepare for school if your student will be attending in-person learning. If your student needs any medication administered while attending school in person, they must have a NEW treatment plan turned in to the clinic before the medication will be accepted.  Please contact me via email [email protected] if you have questions or concerns about your student's medical needs.

The Role of the School Nurse

School nurses are specialized instructional support personnel. They are the pivotal role that bridges healthcare and education. School Nurses are instrumental in removing health barriers for all students. They maintain and support students with physical and mental healthcare needs to support academic success. The American Academy of Pediatrics recognizes the important role School Nurses play in promoting the optimal biopsychosocial health and wellbeing of school-aged children in the school setting.
